Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pithy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Pithy is a personal dashboard application that aggregates information from various third-party services and provides AI-powered assistance. The service allows you to:

• Connect external accounts (email, calendar, social media, etc.)
• View aggregated information in customisable panels
• Interact with an AI assistant that can access your connected data

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring you have the right to connect any third-party accounts
• Complying with the terms of service of any connected third-party services

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse API access
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

Third-Party Services

Pithy integrates with third-party services (Google, Microsoft, Slack, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to:

• The terms and conditions of those third-party services
• The permissions and access you grant when connecting

Pithy is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. These services may change or discontinue their APIs at any time.

AI Features

Pithy uses AI language models to provide assistance and generate content. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
• You should verify important information independently
• AI-generated content should not be relied upon for medical, legal, or financial advice
• Your queries and context are processed by third-party AI providers

Intellectual Property

The Pithy service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Pithy. You retain ownership of your personal data and content. By using the service, you grant Pithy a limited licence to process your data as necessary to provide the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pithy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pithy is not liable for:

• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Actions taken based on AI-generated content
• Actions taken on your behalf by the AI assistant
• Issues with third-party service integrations
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

When the Pithy assistant takes an action on your behalf, Pithy is not liable for any damages that result from that action. You agree that you are responsible for all actions taken by the AI assistant on your behalf. The AI assistant will not take potentially damaging actions unless you explicitly approve them.

Service Availability

Pithy strives to maintain reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Pithy may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify users of significant changes.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. Pithy may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, though certain provisions of these terms will survive.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
